Our vision
At Your Balance Project, our vision is to make movement available and safe by fostering an inclusive, empowering and welcoming environment for every-body.
In today’s fast society, the benefits of movement have became vital for our mental and physical health. We believe that Pilates and exercise should be part of our lifestyles and should be available to anyone; regardless of race, gender, age, ability, background or socioeconomical status.
To us, pain and injuries aren’t just about muscles or joints — it affect your energy, your sleep, your mood, your relationships, how you eat, how you show up, what you do and how you move in the world. This is why, our studio was founded based on science, and principles of kindness, and holistic care. We will help you change your vision about your pain, your body, and your capacities.
Our unique vision and approach is passed on to every instructor who joins our team. Our instructors are trained and guided by our physio, Carolina.
We are here to meet you exactly where you are — and help you move forward with confidence.
This isn’t just Pilates. It’s YOUR space to breathe, rebuild, and feel good again.

Founder - Main Instructor
Hi, I’m Carolina — I brought Your Balance Project to life with the vision of offering a unique holistic approach that supports not only the physical body but also the mind and emotional well-being in an inclusive, kind and empowering environment.
Originally from Chile, I completed a Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy with the intention of helping people recover from injuries. Over the past 10+ years, I’ve explored and taught a wide range of movement practices. Through this experience — along with my training in yoga and health coaching — I’ve developed a deep understanding of the body and mind, and how they are profoundly interconnected. My studies and experience have shown me that stress and lifestyle play a significant role in chronic injuries, which makes our vision distinctive.
Outside of the studio, I enjoy salsa dancing, hiking, swimming in the ocean, music and chai lattes. I have recently explore my creative side with photography which has been very fulfilling.
I hope you can find in us, a community and exercise practice that resonates with you and that essentially changes your life.

Clinical Pilates Instructor
Rachael combines her deep knowledge of movement with a kind, encouraging style that helps clients feel both challenged and cared for. She first came across Pilates in her teen years through dance. It helped her build strength, rehabilitate her injuries and manage ongoing issues. This lead her to complete a Diploma Of Clinical Pilates.
With 8+ years of experience, a background in dance, and training in pointe conditioning, she understands the importance of building strength with precision from the ground up.
She’s passionate about the difference Pilates can make to how we move and feel on a daily basis. Particularly, the relief it can bring from both a preventative and symptom management perspective. Rachael has a keen interest in working with joint issues, kyphosis and hypermobility.
Outside of Pilates, her other favourite forms of movement include dancing, walking and ocean swims (of the recovery kind). She likes to be near the water, spending time at the beach and visiting hot springs are some of her favourite things to do.
